DownloadIt is vital for the safety of our communities that we continue to have a strong volunteer fire service now and in the future. Seven out of ten firefighters and emergency responders in the country are volunteers, and we are looking for more volunteers like you. We invite you to join our family, which will always have your back and train you to serve our community in ways few can.

Membership Requirements:
* EMT volunteers must be at least 17 years of age.
(All NYS training, PPE, and requirements are provided and paid for by the fire department)
1. In the first two years of active service the member must obtain training in either:
a. Basic Exterior Firefighter Operations (BEFO)
b. Emergency Medical Technician training (EMT course)
As well as participate in yearly CPR, OSHA, and NFPA training
2. Serve on one organizational committee and one dinner meeting committee
3. Participate in 2 department events (in addition to our 1st summer BBQ fundraiser -- this is an all-hands-on-deck)
4. Pass yearly physical
